• Facilities & Health Services

    As a student at Kuyper College you have access to a variety of quality facilities and health services. 

    Whether you're in between classes, looking for a new place to study, or something to do outside; Kuyper's campus has a lot to offer. 

    Commuter Lounge & Kitchen 
    A small kitchen off of the Rec Room and Commuter Lounge is provided for all students, but is especially handy for commuting students wishing to heat up a meal. There you'll find a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. There are also various vending machines throughout the campus.

    Computer LabsComputer Lab
    There are computers available for student use in the campus computer lab and residence halls, as well as the Zondervan Library.

    Physical Fitness 
    While the College promotes academic and spiritual growth at every juncture, it also recognizes that staying physically fit is essential to staying healthy.

    The Boonstra Fitness Center at Kuyper College includes a gymnasium as well as cardio and weight rooms featuring free weights, weightlifting and cardio machines. Sports equipment such as volleyballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and badminton racquets are available from the equipment room. The fitness center is open to all students, faculty and staff, other constituents, and guests of students or the College.

    There is also a trail surrounding the campus, an outdoor volleyball court, an 18 hole frisbee golf course and a soccer field where a pick up game of ultimate frisbee is often being played. 

    Rec Room  
    The Rec Room features a big screen tv and ping pong table.  

    Residence Hall Lounges
    There is a lounge in each of the residence hall buildings where students are free to hang out or study. Each lounge is equipped with a TV with cable. Timmer Hall also has a ping pong and pool table. 

    Kuyper College, in partnership with Calvin College, provides Kuyper students with a variety of basic medical services that include diagnosis of illnesses; immunization and allergy injections; diagnostic testing for mononucleosis, strep throat, pregnancy, and anemia; treatment of colds, sprains, sore throats, flu, and other minor ailments. In addition it provides follow-up care after visits to the medical center or hospital as well as crutches for temporary use. Students who have medical needs can consult their own physicians or visit the health-services facility at Calvin College, only a short ride from Kuyper's campus.     All students are required to have the following health forms on file:Health History, Immunization History, TB Self-Screening and the Authorization to Treat Form. Please contact the Student Life Coordinator with questions regarding health services. 

    Kuyper College partners with Markel Insurance Company to provide coverage for students. Full time students are automatically charged for this plan each year, but they have the option to waive this insurance. Part time students interested in this insurance plan may speak with the Business Office to discuss the cost.
