Kuyper College Scholarship Information
Kuyper Achievement Awards (KAA)
These awards are based on academic merit and range from $1,000 to $6,000. A minimum ACT score of 21 is required for each award level. Kuyper Achivement Awards are granted based on information provided on the application for admission and the Financial Aid Office will notify prospective students of their award. The KAA are awarded on a rolling basis and are renewable.
- Presidential Honors Award (minimum GPA of 3.75 )
- Provost Honors Award (minimum GPA of 3.5)
- Dean’s Honors Award (minimum GPA of 3.25)
- Faculty Honors Award (minimum GPA of 3.0)
Christian Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored through our Kuyper College alumni and is available to students who have a GPA of 3.2 or higher and are involved in leadership positions. Students must complete an application and write an essay. The application deadline is February 15. The award is $1,500 per year and renewable.

Multicultural Scholarship
Several Multicultural Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 are given annually as part of Kuyper College’s efforts to create an intercultural student body and a campus community that celebrates cultural diversity. These scholarships are offered to selected first year students. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Recipients of the Multicultural Scholarships are expected to use their talents at Kuyper College by being involved in student leadership and by striving to develop their academic, spiritual, and social leadership skills. The application deadline is February 15, 2008.

International Scholarships
International Scholarships are intended to encourage indigenous missions and develop national churches in the home countries of Kuyper College’s international students. Funding for these scholarships is provided by individuals and churches in North America.
Applicants for an International Scholarship must be sponsored by a church or agency in their home country. The church or agency then shares responsibility for urging the student to return home for ministry upon graduation. More information is available from Mary VanderMeer, international student coordinator, at mvandermeer@kuyper.eduor from the Admissions Office.
Kuyper College Canadian Aid
The Canadian Grant-in-Aid is awarded to every Kuyper College student from Canada who completes the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application. Canadian Need-Based Grants are available to Canadian students who complete the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application and demonstrates financial need. This aid is awarded on a rolling basis. Canadian students also benefit from a Kuyper College exchange-rate allowance of 50 percent and are eligible for the Canada Student Loan Program. Students should submit loan applications through their province’s ministry of education.

Kuyper College Endowed Scholarships
Kuyper College has an assortment of endowed scholarships that are awarded on the basis of several criteria including financial need, career interest, academic achievement and special status.The Kuyper College endowed scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Office based on evaluation of the above criteria and with the completion of the Endowed Scholarship Application, the FAFSA and a required 2.0 GPA or higher.
