Donor Information

There are many ways to support Kuyper College and its efforts to deliver a quality Christian leadership education. An education focused on spiritual formation, integration of biblical knowledge and academic study, and outstanding field-education and internship opportunities. Financial support provides needed resources to meet an ever increasing number of needs. We urge you to explore various ways by which you can financially support the college.

Types of Funds

Whether you would like your gift to support financial aid to students, offsetting general operating expenses of the College, or paying down the institution’s debt, there’s a fund that meets your giving goals.

The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides unrestricted financial support to the College for annual operations and programs. As such, these gifts help reduce the cost of a ministry-focused education to students from around the world who wish to serve Christ and his church.

The Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund is a fund set up to support students meeting certain merit and financial-need requirements. In addition, scholarships can be endowed by donors to fulfill certain kingdom goals they wish to see accomplished; for example the support of international students. Endowed Scholarships

The Debt Retirement Fund

This fund is set up to provide a vehicle for those donors who wish to help the College in reducing debt.

The Kuyper Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund was established to provide a stable long-term financial resource for the College. As with most endowment funds, the principal is invested and interest earned is reinvested, with a portion of that interest being used to defray operating costs for the College. All undesignated gifts from bequests, annuities, and trusts, and cash gifts designated for the endowment are placed in this fund. Gifts may be made during the donor’s lifetime or arranged in advance for distribution to the College upon the donor’s death.

Matching Gifts

Many companies provide gifts to the College as a percentage or dollar-for-dollar match of the gifts given by their employees. Some companies even give multiples of those employee gifts.

When you are ready to make a gift to Kuyper, request that your employer’s human resources office provide you with a form that deals with this purpose. Fill out the form and send it with your contribution to the Kuyper College Advancement Office. We will complete the required additional information, return the form to your employer, and notify you when the matching gift is received from your employer.
