Volunteer Support
In addition to a financial gift, you can help Kuyper College by donating your time and talents. We appreciate the value of what your energies can bring to the College community. Here are some of the ways that you can get involved as a volunteer:
Work on a fundraising event, such as the Spring Gala held every April, the Phonathon in the fall, or the Scholarship Dinner.
The Spring Gala brings together a significant number of local donors and features such highlights as the unveiling of major initiatives and presentations by regionally or nationally known speakers, along with an abundance of good food and Christian fellowship.
The Phonathon is a marathon “calling event” primarily conducted by students who thank donors for their contributions and gifts to Kuyper College.
The Scholarship Dinner is held in October to honor the donors who provide scholarships to deserving students. Donors get to meet and spend time with the students who are the direct recipients of their gift commitments.
Help plan and/or host an alumni event.
Alumni events are held throughout the year in various locales where concentrations of alumni can be found. These events, in addition to Homecoming activities, are the responsibility of the Kuyper College Alumni Board and the Alumni Office staff in the Advancement Office.
Help with Recruitment
Assist the Admissions Office in recruiting students by serving as a local spokesperson for the College—especially if you are an alumni of the College—and by hosting visiting Kuyper staff and prospective students.
