    On the evening of April 24th, family and friends of Kuyper graduates gathered to celebrate the 2015 commencement ceremony during which each graduate received a candle-holder and the charge to “Go! Let your light shine!”
  • Business Leadership—Triple Bottom Line Contest

    This past March, 19 high school student teams competed in Kuyper College’s first Triple Bottom Line Business Idea Contest. Each team had the task of creating a business idea in the spirit of Christian entrepreneurship—ideas that met the three criteria that make up the “triple bottom line” of good entrepreneurship: profit (revenue), people (community betterment), and planet (environmental betterment).
  • Kuyper's Annual Student Scholar Day

    Perhaps one of the clearest expressions of the phrase which appears on Kuyper College’s seal, ora et labora (“pray and work”), is Student Scholar Day. This annual event highlights excellent research and performances undergirded by a Christian worldview and developed by Kuyper College students. This year’s activities, which took place in April, were no exception.
  • Social Work Seniors present Food for Thought: Perspectives on Hunger, Obesity, and Food Insecurity"

    As a project for Social Work Practice III: Communities and Organizations class, Kuyper senior social work students recently hosted a Continuing Education Training Event for licensed social workers. According to Dr. Ravenhorst Meerman, Professor of Social Work and Director of Social Work Field Practicum at Kuyper, the scope of this class allows students to organize themselves as a social service agency. “Students interview with me and apply for specific roles within the newly formed agency,” said Meerman.
