  • Kuyper Students Join D.C. March on 40th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade

    Ten Kuyper students took part in a massive anti-abortion march in Washington, DC, on Friday, January 25. Despite frigid temperatures, they joined hundreds of thousands on the National Mall on the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade to protest the landmark 1971 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand in the United States. 
    Kuyper’s Street Team, a student group dedicated to sharing the truths of the gospel organized the trip. “As a student group, we wanted to stand up for the most vulnerable in society,” said Michael Donahue, leader of the Street Team.

    After returning from the Christian Reformed Church prayer summit last April, Rev. Stanley Jim was so on fire for prayer that he decided to gather local church leaders in Classis Red Mesa.
  • Annual Student Retreat

    January 24, 2013
    Kuyper students did to have to go far to attend the annual Winter Retreat: this year, it was titled a “stay-cation” and took place on campus from January 12 to 13.
    Much prayer went into the retreat’s planning, which started in late November. Spiritual Life Committee Events Intern Shayla Newman planned most of the retreat.
