Come, Come Emmanuel
December 7, 2012
“Veni, veni Emmanuel,” sang the choir, echoing the theme for the Advent Concert: “Come, Emmanuel”. Performed by the Kuyper College Choir on December 2, the concert reflected the need and anticipation for a Savior. The choir songs were carefully chosen. Arranged for more than a performance, they reflected worship of a loving God.
The concert began with a focus on reliving the anticipation of Christ’s birth, followed by the recognition of God’s fulfilled promises in the birth of Christ with praise and adoration. It ended centered on anticipating Christ’s return. The choir was directed by Dr. Kai Ton Chau and accompanied by Dr. Carol Hochhalter.
