End of Year at Kuyper
November 30, 2012
As the end of 2012 fast approaches, Kuyper College is ready for a very important time in its financial calendar. Approximately 80% of all donations received by the college happen during this time—most of which are directed to the Annual Fund.
The Annual Fund provides unrestricted financial support to the college for annual operations and programs. Kuyper relies on support from alumni and friends, private foundations and corporations to help, “fill the gap” between tuition revenue and annual operating expenses. Simply put, support for the Annual Fund provides Kuyper College the opportunity to become the best college it can be—helping to educate all who come with a desire to learn and benefit from our focus on training students to make a difference in God’s world.
To help the process of giving, Kuyper has launched its year-end Phonathon Campaign. From November 26 to December 20, Kuyper students will make over 4,500 calls asking for support of the Annual Fund—18 students are volunteering their time and will be calling alumni, parents of alumni, parents of students, and many other friends and supporters of the college.
While the calls’ primary objective is to raise funds, they also provide an opportunity to learn about the college from a student’s perspective. In addition, data gathered during the calling will help to ensure the college’s database is up to date with current contact information and contact preferences.
Potential donors who want to give but do not want to receive a phone call are encouraged to make a donation online at www.kuyper.edu/giveonline.
