Music poured from the Vos Chapel during the last of the student recitals—this year a combined total of 62 performances were represented between two recitals given each year by Kuyper students.
All students in the music program are required to play at a recital. While professors use these performances as grading tool, the recitals serve a greater purpose for students. For Eleanor Jefferson, her piano and guitar performances provided an opportunity to end the semester by “pulling together theory and technique to reflect a greater knowledge of music as well as newly-mastered skills.”
And for the audiences, the recital provided a wonderful way to enjoy, rejoice and celebrate in the God-given abilities of musical skill and accomplishment of the Kuyper College community.
