Inspiration for Future Generations

Diet Eman was the featured speaker at the most recent event at Kuyper College of The HANDS social work club. A young woman during the Nazi invasion of Holland during WWII she, along with many other members of the Resistance including her fiance, worked to hide Jewish people from the Nazi's. She was arrested and sent to a concentration camp. Now in her 90’s Eman held an audience in the Kuyper Vos Chapel spellbound as she recounted part of her story. A story of conviction, courage and ultimately, of obedience to the Lord’s command to “love thy neighbor.”

There are many heroes who came out of WWII. The opportunity to personally listen to and be encouraged by one of these them was a once in a lifetime experience for the audience of over 100.
