Recommended Lender Disclosure Statement

Kuyper College carefully reviews lender's policies and products each year to find the best rates and services for our students. To assist families in this decision, the Financial Aid Office (FAO) compiled a list of institutions that we consider excellent in the educational lending field. We have found each of these lenders to provide: excellent customer support for the borrowers and the instition, prompt reconciliation of loan issues, and fast electronic payment of loan funds.

We encourage borrowers to choose a recommended lender; however, student and parent borrowers may select any lender who participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP), whether or not they are listed on our recommended lender list. Kuyper College’s FAO is dedicated to processing loan requests as quickly as possible for all our borrowers. Borrowers who do not chose a recommended lender are advised to contact the FAO as it may be a manual process which could cause a slight delay in loan processing, approval, and disbursement.
