When you choose to continue your education at Kuyper College, you will find an institution that is focused on educating and developing professionally and spiritually equipped Christian leaders for service in God's Kingdom. Every year we welcome transfer students who want to complete their education here - nearly 30 percent of Kuyper's graduates came to the college as transfers. The faculty and staff at Kuyper will work with you to make your transfer process as seamless an experience as possible - academically as well as financially. Based on your academic interests and career goals, we will work with you to show you how your credits will transfer and help you determine a plan to graduate in a timely way.
Luke Morgan, Kuyper’s Transfer Coordinator, will guide you every step of the way coordinating the process of your application and transfer. Luke will also be helpful in connecting you to our financial aid staff.Kyle Wigboldy, Kuyper’s Registrar, will evaluate your transcripts to determine the number of transfer credits to Kuyper. He will also be available to you as an advisor regarding majors and planning your academic program.
All Kuyper College programs are accredited through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). The Social Work Program is also accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Graduate on Schedule
At Kuyper we want to do everything possible to ensure you graduate as soon as possible. For starters, you will be given a personalized evaluation of your credits so you will know how long it will take to graduate. Call Luke Morgan at 616-988-3645 or email email@example.com to begin that process.
Transfer Credits*We accept up to 75 credits from accredited 4 year institutions, and up to 65 credits from accredited 2 year institutions that meet the following three requirements:
Kuyper values community college transfers! As part of MACRAO (Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers) we accept all credits earned according to the association and apply them towards our core curriculum requirements. In addition we also accept AP (Advanced Placement) exams and CLEP (College Level Examination Program) earned credits.
Kuyper College provides an exceptional value at a very affordable price. Our financial partnership with you begins with a tuition that is significantly lower than comparable Christian colleges - an average of $6,000 per year. Additionally, we are committed to providing a variety of scholarship and financial aid specifically for transfer students. We reward academic excellence by offering a large number of scholarships, below are some examples.
The scholarships listed in the table below are awarded soon after a student is admitted and do not require an additional scholarship application beyond the FAFSA.
Christian Leadership Scholarship
This $2,000 per year scholarship, renewable for up to four years, is sponsored by Kuyper alumni, and is available to new Kuyper students who have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and are involved in leadership positions. The application deadline for this scholarship is Feb. 15.
Several Multicultural Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 per year, and renewable for up to four years, are given as part of our efforts to celebrate an intercultural campus community. These scholarships are offered to selected new Kuyper students. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required, and recipients are expected to use their talents at Kuyper by being actively involved in groups that shape campus life and by working to develop academic, spiritual, and social leadership skills.
When our students add to our lower costs the quality of our academic programs, the spiritual and campus environment, and the extraordinary results that Kuyper graduates are achieving throughout the world, they find that a Kuyper education does indeed provide exceptional value.
Come to one of our signature visit days and experience life and community at Kuyper. A typical Kuyper Experience Day includes…
Please let us know if you would like to meet with a coach, financial aid advisor, or transfer coordinator while you are on campus. We will do our best to schedule those appointments.
For any student who attends a Kuyper Experience Day (or has made arrangements with the Visit Coordinator to qualify an individual visit) before enrolling at Kuyper College, a $200 visit grant will be credited to your tuition account when you begin your studies at Kuyper.
