Branson ParlerProfessor Parler began teaching adjunct at Kuyper College in the fall of 2007.  He was appointed to the faculty for the fall of 2008 and has recently completed his Ph.D.  Professor Parler teaches a variety of Theology, Philosophy, and Bible courses.  He has also taught courses in Bible, Theology, and Christian Worldview at Calvin College and Cornerstone University.

"My desire is that students learn to be careful and charitable readers of Scripture, theology, and culture, so that we can better see who God is calling us to be and what he is calling us to do.  We undertake this task not only for our own sake, but so that we can live out the ways of life in God's world, and thus be bearers of hope and good news to those around us.  While Kuyper is a training ground for a variety of vocations, the Christian's central vocation as a member of the body of Christ grounds and informs all others."

Professor Parler,  his wife, Sarah, and their daughters reside in Grand Rapids, where Sarah continues to teach him the spiritual discipline of yard-saling.  Professor Parler enjoys reading, music, a variety of sports, and spending time outdoors.
