Professor Greg Scott has been teaching at Kuyper College since 1991. In 1999 he was appointed director of the social work program at the College. Prior to that he taught both social work and sociology courses. Professor Scott has more than 25 years of professional social work post-masters experience as a case manager, therapist, administrator, supervisor and trainer. Professor Scott teaches Introduction to Social Work, Social Welfare Policy Analysis, International Social Work, Generalist Practice I (Individuals & Family), Generalist Practice II (Groups), The Dominican Republicand Marriage & Family.

Social work education is a passion of Professor Scott. His goal is to mold minds and develop skills as a Christian who does social work. "Abraham Kuyper would see social work as an important and necessary component of a Christian college education." To bring Shalom, social justice and restoration to the world is the role of the social worker.
Professor Scott and his wife Carol attend the Vineyard Church. He plays Latin percussion, is proud of his daughter Lindsay who is an elementary teacher in New York City, and enjoys cheering for his son Derek who is a professional runner.
