Lisa joined the faculty of Kuyper College in the fall of 2006 to teach introductory Greek as well as advanced Greek, which focuses on reading portions of the New Testament.   She was previously a teaching assistant for the introductory Greek program at Calvin Theological Seminary.

"There is no greater privilege than to teach the next generation the languages of the Bible, God's holy Word.  My hope is that the students will gain a foundation for Bible study which they will continue to cultivate and utilize in whatever ministry God has planned for them."

Lisa and her husband, Rev. Mike Hoogeboom, spent 6 years in the middle-east in cross-cultural missions to Muslims.  With their 3 children they love to canoe, hike and camp in the wilderness.  She also enjoys reading, swimming and drinking Turkish tea with friends.
