Together they served as missionaries to Mexico for seven years where Dr. Kroeze was Adult Bible Education Instructor at Oaxaca Training Center, Oaxaca, Mexico. He also was Instructor/Director of Secondary Education at Mexico Christian School, Mexico City.
The Kroezes have four adult children and three grandchildren. Kroeze and his family are members of the Christian Reformed Church. He has served as an elder and as Council President.
Reflecting on his current role, Kroeze said, "We give thanks to God, for it is he who leads. This is an enterprise that we take on together as the Lord shares his Spirit with this college community. There are three hallmarks for our actions. First, we are to be people of prayer. Second, we are to make a commitment to Christian living. And third, we are to be a serving community."
