Job Summary
This part-time ministry position provides leadership, coordination, mentoring, and opportunities for spiritual growth to the middle school and high school students within Millbrook CRC and the community. This position leads regular youth group meetings and collaborates with volunteer adult leaders to minister to our young people.

Responsibilities

Leadership of the Middle School Program
1.Preparation and leadership of one Sunday evening meeting, per month, during the school year.
2.Plan, lead, and attend several social outings and special events, including an overnight weekend retreat, during the year.
3.Coordinate plans and collaborate with volunteer adult leaders.
4.Build healthy, mature, mentoring relationships with students by showing interest in their school activities and by connecting in small groups.
5.Document expense and work within the program budget.

 
Leadership of the Senior High School Program
1.Preparation and leadership of two Sunday evening meetings, per month, during the school year.
2.Plan, lead, and attend several social outings and special events, including an overnight weekend retreat, during the year.
3.Plan and lead a week long, summer youth trip with a three year rotation that includes a domestic serve project, an international serve project, and the youth convention.
4.Coordinate plans and collaborate with volunteer adult leaders.
5.Build healthy mentoring relationships with students by attending some school activities and by connecting in small group settings.
6.Document expenses and work within the program budget.

Compensation
This part-time position as Youth Director of Millbrook CRC receives
an annual compensation of $16 - $17,000

A reformed and Christian world view; a passion for youth ministry; spiritual maturity; leadership ability; able to plan and organize; creativity.

Experience preferred but not required.
