Getting Started with Financial Aid
The first step in applying for financial aid is to apply for your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your PIN serves as an electronic signature on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and can not be processed electronically by the federal government without it. Both student and parent will need a PIN, unless the student qualifies as an independent student.
