Dan Vos Gives $500,000 to Kuyper College for Scholarships.

Dr. Nicholas V. Kroeze, President of Kuyper College, announced a new gift of $500,000 for scholarships by Dan Vos, a long-time friend of the College and former member of the Board of Trustees. The scholarship, earmarked to assist Kuyper College pre-seminary students planning to attend Calvin Theological Seminary after their graduation from Kuyper, will be distributed over a five-year period.

The scholarship, named "The Reformed Bible College Pre-Seminary Heritage Scholarship," will fund up to 100% of a student's certified unmet financial need for tuition and related educational expenses at the College.

Vos grew up in West Michigan and is the founder of Dan Vos Construction Company, a leading commercial construction company with an established reputation for quality and customer satisfaction throughout the Midwest.  According to Kroeze, Vos has carried this same passion over into his service for the College: "Dan's vision as a trustee, and ongoing support as a donor, have been significant in advancing the College and enhancing its ability to equip students for lives of ministry and service.  His heart and financial support are particularly focused on assisting students with the cost of education."

This scholarship will help pre-seminary students to carry out the mission of the College of 'equipping students with a biblical, Reformed worldview to serve effectively Christ's church and his world'."
