A bachelor's degree in Accounting qualifies you to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and begin the process to seek licensure.

You may also elect to continue your studies to meet the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) requirements. The state of Michigan requires 150 credit hours to become a Certified Public Accountant. While some Kuyper accounting graduates pursue a master's degree in a related field to meet the 150-hour requirement, most students couple the accounting program with selected business leadership classes to fulfill the requirements for the CPA certification.

Kuyper students value a strong grounding in Bible and theology that equips them both professionally and personally. Without adding any time to your Accounting program, selecting this option will provide a firm foundation as you prepare for a life of ministry and service. The Bible and theology core can be expanded by a simple shift of a few elective courses.
