International Ambassador Scholarship

Do you desire to return to your country after graduation and serve in an area of ministry? Through the vision and generosity of Kuyper College donors, the Ambassador Scholarship is offered to selected international students for whom education and training in ministry may not be available in their home country.

The Ambassador Scholarship is awarded to students who plan, after completion of their studies, to return to their home country to serve. The selection of new recipients is made in accordance with the international student financial aid policies and is based on the Statement of Finances Form and the student’s completed admissions file.

Kuyper College recognizes that attending college in the US is a significant investment for many students. We are committed to partnering with students using Ambassador Scholarship funds to support them to a significant level. Students must demonstrate the ability to contribute toward their education at Kuyper as limited scholarship funds are available each year.

Recipients of the Ambassador Scholarship must be enrolled in one of the following programs:  Business Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies, Ministry Leadership, Social Work (BSW), a certificate, or associate degree program.  Recipients of the scholarship must maintain a Kuyper College GPA average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

The application and all documents are due on or before February 1.

To apply for the International Ambassador Scholarship, complete all of the required paperwork for regular admission. In addition, request your pastor to download, complete and email a Pastor Recommendation.

If you are receiving support from your denomination or need further education to fulfill your current church or missions work, also submit a denominational support letter.

The pastor recommendation and the denominational support letter should be scanned and sent to intladmissions@kuyper.edu.
