Accreditation and Memberships
Kuyper College is approved and regulated by the Department of Licensure and Regulatory Affairs of the State of Michigan and is authorized to offer master’s, bachelor’s, and associate degrees as well as diploma and certification programs.
Kuyper College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). In addition, the College’s social work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Kuyper College is accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blve., Ste 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808) to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctoral levels.
As a federally recognized work college, Kuyper is a member of the Work Colleges Consortium, a group of distinctive student-centered colleges promoting the purposeful integration of work-learning-service while helping to reduce the cost of education. The College is also a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) as they are partners of the Work Colleges Consortium.
The College is a member of the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP ) and has endorsed that body’s “Principles of Good Practice.” Kuyper College also holds affiliate membership within the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
Kuyper College holds membership with the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), with plans to begin competitive play in 2023. The NCCAA “uses intercollegiate athletics to further the Great Commission and is committed to equipping student-athletes and coaches to make a positive impact for Christ”
Kuyper College holds membership with TalentFirst, an organization that works to drive change in “Workforce Diversity and Inclusion and Early Literacy”.
The College is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students and is listed by the United States government for the training of veterans.
