Retention and Graduation Rates (College Navigator)

This chart displays Kuyper College’s undergraduate fall-to-fall retention rates for the past five years on a year-to-year basis. Retention rates for bachelors programs are fall-to-fall based on first-time, full-time status. Rates are reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).

 

This chart displays 4-year 6-year grad rates, which measures the graduation rates for bachelor degrees at 150% of the expected time for completion (6 years from the first enrollment). Rates are reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education System (IPEDS).

Filing a Complaint:

The process for registering a complaint can be found in the Student Handbook within the section Student Code of Conduct and Discipline, with the judicial process for complaints being listed on page 16-20.

After first working with the institution, if a student wishes to contact the state of Michigan concerning a complaint, they will do so by submitting this completed form to the state of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Use this form.

Student Complaint or Concern

Kuyper College is committed to providing students with a means for sharing their concerns and officially registering complaints about any academic program, student service, or College process.

The Student Complaint Form provides students with an avenue to submit a concern regarding any area on campus for which no other specific process exists. You will receive confirmation that your complaint was received and routed to the appropriate office for review and response within 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday.

This form should NOT be used to submit complaints or grievances regarding:

  • Student Discipline Appeals [For more information, see the Student Handbook Judicial Process section, pages 16-21)
  • A violation of Title IX [For more information, go here.]
  • Faculty members, courses, course grades [For more information, see the Academic Catalog, pg. 37.]

Student Complaint or Concern Form

NC-SARA Complaint Process for Distance Education Students

The following information applies only to students enrolled in distance education courses offered by Kuyper College under the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).

Students should first attempt to resolve any concerns through Kuyper College’s institutional complaint and grievance procedures. If a complaint cannot be resolved through the College’s complaint process, students enrolled in distance education courses covered by NC-SARA may file a complaint through the NC-SARA State Portal Entity, provided the complaint meets NC-SARA requirements. Information regarding the NC-SARA complaint process and filing procedures is available on the NC-SARA website.
