Music poured from the Vos Chapel during the last of the student recitals—this year a combined total of 62 performances were represented between two recitals given each year by Kuyper students.

Dr. Branson Parler, Associate Professor of Theological Studies at Kuyper College, was recently named a columnist for Think Christian, an online magazine which features articles on a wide range of topics, from family and economics to politics and pop culture. The magazine’s purpose is to encourage conversation about what it means to live in a God-owned world—strongly reflecting the Kuyperian emphasis on the sovereignty of God over all creation.

Every spring, Kuyper College’s senior social work cohort hosts an event that they plan, organize, and facilitate. Required for “Communities and Organizations,” a class all social work students must take as seniors, the event is designed to allow social work students to experience the tasks that are often involved with running an organization.  

Each spring, at the end of the year, one special day is dedicated entirely to student scholarship. Each Student Scholar Day, opens with Honors Convocation, the event in which recognizes graduating seniors for academic achievement. Following convocation, students, family, friends, faculty, staff, and friends of Kuyper College gathered in various classrooms to enjoy a wide range of academic presentations.
