About the Alumni Relations Committee

The Alumni Relations Committee serves as an advisory group to the Advancement & Alumni Relations Office. The committee consists of twelve members who serve yearlong terms and meet on a quarterly basis. Their responsibilities include:

  • Generating new ideas for alumni events, services, and communications
  • Providing feedback to staff on ongoing efforts
  • Serving as ambassadors and engaging Kuyper alumni with engagement opportunities

Membership Expectations

The Kuyper College Alumni Relations Committee bridges the gap between Kuyper staff members and alumni. Committee members are expected to fulfill the following:

Membership Terms

  • New members serve yearlong terms for up to three years
  • Regular meetings take place virtually on a quarterly
  • The annual meeting takes place in-person and sets the annual meeting & event schedule
  • Sub-committee meetings for select events and projects take place as needed

Participation & Responsibilities

  • Attend committee meetings
  • Engage Kuyper alumni with key events and fundraising campaigns
  • Review and update the Alumni Relations Office’s strategic plan on an annual basis
  • Assist Alumni Relations Office with generating project ideas & communications content
