Kuyper College Welcomes New Interim Chief Development Officer
Kuyper College is pleased to announce that Nate Vander Stelt, Co-Founder and President of Kairos Collaborative, LLC, will join the institution as the part-time Interim Chief Development Officer moving into 2026. Vander Stelt brings a wealth of experience from both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, demonstrating strong expertise in team collaboration, organizational growth, and relationship-building. His expertise encompasses organizational management, team building, fundraising, strategic planning, and executive coaching, complemented by his ability to communicate effectively and facilitate in dynamic environments.
Previously, Vander Stelt served as Executive VP at the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication (GACX) (2017-2022), where he helped recruit and catalyze multinational organizations to establish one healthy, multiplying church for every 1,000 people, with a goal of 5 million churches. His work involved building relationships with 114 organizations and traveling extensively to understand Gospel growth and needs.
Vander Stelt has also held prominent positions as a Senior Consultant with the Timothy Group, Director of Development at Home Missions of the Christian Reformed Church, The Potter’s House, and Calvin Seminary. He also served as Director of Enrollment Management at Kuyper College (2000-2003).
Outside of his professional work, Nate has been married to Kris for 34 years. They have three children: a son and daughter-in-law residing in Traverse City, a daughter in Chicago, and a son in Grand Rapids. Nate and Kris enjoy playing games, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
