Kuyper College Welcomes New Interim Chief Advancement Officer

Kuyper College is pleased to announce that Nate Vander Stelt will join the College as part-time Interim Chief Advancement Officer as it moves into 2026.
Vander Stelt is co-founder and president of Kairos Collaborative, LLC, and brings extensive experience in nonprofit and for-profit leadership, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational growth.
“Kuyper has long been a place where faith and calling are taken seriously,” Vander Stelt said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve during this interim season and to help strengthen relationships that support the College’s mission and its students.”
Vander Stelt’s background includes fundraising, strategic planning, organizational management, executive coaching, and team development. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication from 2017 to 2022, where he worked with 114 multinational organizations toward the goal of establishing one healthy, multiplying church for every 1,000 people worldwide. His work included extensive international travel as he engaged leaders and communities to better understand Gospel growth and ministry needs.
Earlier in his career, Vander Stelt served as a senior consultant with the Timothy Group and held development leadership roles with Home Missions of the Christian Reformed Church, The Potter’s House, and Calvin Seminary. He also previously served Kuyper College as director of enrollment management from 2000 to 2003.
Vander Stelt and his wife, Kris, have been married for 34 years and have three adult children. Their family lives in Traverse City, Chicago, and Grand Rapids. Together, Nate and Kris enjoy traveling, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.
