Selection Criteria

Selection for this award is based on the student’s academic record (minimum GPA of 2.5), leadership involvement, quality of the application essay, as well as the student’s ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic background. Many recipients are North American ethnic minority students, but some awards may also be given to other students from the U.S. demonstrating ethnic and cultural sensitivity.

Application Procedures and Deadline

Students interested in being considered for the Multicultural Scholarship should have their application for acceptance and this completed application form (with accompanying typed essay) submitted by January 1 to receive priority consideration.
